BREEDING OBJECTIVES

We strive to breed a type of sheep producing high quality Merino type wool which is both productive and profitable both for our clients and ourselves in our own commercial flock.

We aim to breed sheep with high quality wools that meet strong demand with sufficient fat and muscle to maximise fertility and productivity.

We believe in utilising genetics and visual traits to breed animals with lower incidence of flystrike as is important when considering animal ethics.

We seek fresh genetics to meet these objectives and use modern breeding technologies at times to assist us.

Our flock is non-mulesed and we focus on selecting for improved breech traits to minimise incidences of flystrike. These non-mulesed rams are suitable for purchase by RWS flocks.
